Artpark

Earl W. Brydges Artpark is a New York State Park and Premier Performing & Visual Arts Center. Artpark is located at 450 South 4th Street Lewiston, New York and includes 150 picturesque acres of New York State Park located along the breathtaking Niagara River Gorge, offering enchanting woodland trails, riverside picnic areas, fishing docks, with a 2300 seat Main Theater and adjacent seating lawn overlooking the River. The outdoor amphitheater is home to free Tuesday concert nights under the stars and special events and festivals. It is dedicated to presenting the finest in performing and visual arts programs, including Broadway musicals and classical, jazz and pop music concerts; a Big Band Series; art exhibits; classes, workshops and demonstrations, and tours of the park's geological and historic sites and nature trails. Lower Landing Archeological District is a key point in the Colonial Niagara Historic District. The park has picnic facilities, hiking and cross-country skiing, and access to fishing. Since 1974 Artpark has been a destination for artists from around the United States and the globe who have sought out its breathtaking location overlooking the Niagara River Gorge as site for three dimensional installations and sculpture.
